Joep van der Geest (1980) graduated from the Maastricht Theater Academy in 2002 and is an actor and director. Together with his classmates, he founded the actors' collective De Warme Winkel and performed with various European companies such as ZT Hollandia (a former merger of Het Zuidelijk Toneel and Theatergroep Hollandia), hetpaleis, Ro Theater, Toneelgroep Oostpool, and Tanzquartier Wien.
Between 2005 and 2016, he was a member of the music theater ensemble de Veenfabriek. Here, he made his directorial debut in 2015 with the witty musical theater lecture performance RAARRR. He was also a member of the twelve-member plug&play collective Moeremans&Sons.
Joep also teaches at drama schools and works remarkably often and enthusiastically with Sarah Moeremans.
