We don't just create productions. We preserve what remains useful and enjoy sharing our treasures. Many of our costumes and other items are available for rent.

Over the company's sixty-plus years of existence, Het Zuidelijk Toneel has built up a large collection of costumes: theatre costumes, themed costumes, historical clothing from the Middle Ages onwards, festive costumes, hats, wigs, shoes, and masks. It's all here. Most of the collection is available for rent to (amateur) theatre groups, private individuals and organizations.

You are very welcome to visit our costume storage facility. Look around, feel and smell the clothes. Our costume team, consisting of Monique, Laure, Ilse and Melanie, is happy to offer tips and advice.

Opening hours:

  • Tuesday afternoon between 1:30 PM and 4:00 PM
  • Thursday afternoon between 1:30 PM and 4:00 PM

The entrance to the costume rental service is on the street side of Ringbaan Oost.
