Het Zuidelijk Toneel & Sarah Moeremans
Are you ready for a real Brabant party? An evening where conviviality, traditions, and Burgundian flavors come together in a unique theater experience?
At We Are The World, We Are The Brabant, we immerse you in the soul of Brabant, with local stories, recognizable traditions, and a generous dose of conviviality.
Together with our regular ensemble and local heroes, this promises to be a festive theater experience. Each city where the show is performed - Tilburg, 's-Hertogenbosch, Helmond, Etten-Leur, Roosendaal, and Eindhoven - brings its own unique stories and character to the stage. From hilarious anecdotes to moving memories, this performance offers a surprising, witty, and multifaceted portrait of Brabant. Do you recognize your city in the stories?
From the moment you walk in, you'll experience Brabant hospitality, which continues during the intermission. Feel at home. We'll be serving drinks on stage with Schrobbelèr, refreshing Prise d'Eau spring water, and authentic Houben Worstenbrood.
And after the final scene? That's when the party really gets started! Stay in the theater and dance to the best Brabant beats from DJ Frino. This is an evening you won't want to miss: a red-and-white-checkered ode to Brabant, where identity and togetherness come together.
Tell me, who here is the real Brabander? Come and experience it for yourself!

Sarah Moeremans has been the artistic director of Het Zuidelijk Toneel since December 2023, but her connection with the company dates back to 2021, when she joined as a permanent director and co-artistic director. Her work is philosophical with a touch of satire, using language as its main building block. Since 2013, she has worked regularly with writer Joachim Robbrecht. At Het Zuidelijk Toneel, she has created, among other things, the audience favorite Shut Up and Play With Me (nominated for the VSCD Mime/Performance Prize), the theater experience What Ever Happened to Mr. Pete? and the absolute Oerol hit Rijgen.
