Director & writer

Silke van Kamp is a theater and film director. She created the production F*CK LOLITA at Het Zuidelijk Toneel in collaboration with writer Annet Bremen. This not only blew the audience away but also impressed the press. 

Silke conveys current themes and taboos directly to her audience. In her work, she investigates how the individual relates to the mass. She critiques social constructs and exposes societal dynamics. With her actors, she creates recognizable characters of flesh and blood. Her performances and text directions are raw and intimate, yet layered and laced with humor. Musical, physical, edgy, honest.
