Ada Ozdogan (Amsterdam, 1989) graduated from the directing program at the Maastricht Theater Academy in 2014. Her work is characterized by a strong visual language that stems from large-scale formal investigations. She is interested in characters who resist social norms, as well as the prejudices and gaze of others that hold them captive.

Her production Dubbelgangers was named one of the five strongest productions of 2019. And the Tarantinoesque western GRACE was nominated for the BNG Bank Theater Prize in 2023. In addition to her work for Het Zuidelijk Toneel, she has also produced work for Orkater, Toneelgroep Oostpool, Theater Sonnevanck, Frascati, Theater Rast, and Theater Bellevue.
