Are you a fanatical gamer? Or that parent who has no idea what's going on in your child's virtual world? Directed by Peter Seynaeve, ensemble member Julia Ghysels (winner of Theo d'Or 2025) plays all the characters: the mother who refuses to let go and builds a monument to her dead son in her garden, the dead son himself, the angry neighbour who wants the monument removed, the grieving husband who calls a clairvoyant, and the pixelated bear who guides her through the game.

But who actually determines the rules of the game and when is the grief over? What starts as an innocent login in search of comfort ultimately turns out to be the mirror that forces her to see what she has been trying to avoid all along. Saved Game is a slightly absurd and sometimes painfully funny performance about loss, love and the healing power of play.
