Peter Seynaeve (Ronse, 1970) graduated as an actor from Studio Herman Teirlinck in 1996 and has since worked at Zuidpool, hetpaleis, NT Gent, and Toneelhuis, among others. Over the years, he has performed for various Dutch and Flemish directors, including Luk Perceval in the legendary production Ten Oorlog. He made his directorial debut in 2006, founding his own company JAN, and causing a sensation with performances in which children played the leading roles. He created the widely acclaimed CAMPO performance Five Easy Pieces about the Dutroux case with Milo Rau.

At Het Zuidelijk Toneel, Peter can focus on his own oeuvre and further develop and discover his talent as a director. Seynaeve makes ideas emotional. He has the ability to make large and complex social challenges tangible from a small story or emotion.
