Education - To the theatre
man en vrouw zijn gekleed als jonge sailor kids, lachen lief naar de camera, houden elkaars hand vast en steken met hun andere hand de middelvinger op.

What if Beuys and Hitler had met? Director Silke van Kamp is a sucker for rewriting stories. Last year, she caused a sensation with F*CK LOLITA, for which she collaborated with writer Annet Bremen to rewrite the story of Nabokov’s iconic novel heroine, Lolita. Now she is staging a fictional encounter that could have changed the course of history if it had actually taken place!

Why those two, of all people!? Because art might just save the world. Joseph Beuys believed that anyone could be an artist. Adolf Hitler, who was rejected by art school, later turned art into a weapon. In *I Like Art and Art Likes Me*, they meet on the theatre stage. Silke van Kamp, Jip Vuik and Willem de Wolf create an imaginary confrontation that could have changed the course of history.
