Today, the grown-ups are leaving. They are hard-working parents, but they no longer love their children. They pack their carts full of household goods and leave. The children sleep in the houses of the medieval village. They are still unaware of what is happening. The music stops, the lights come on, and the play falls silent. Then a child climbs onto the stage. A child from the audience. Another child follows. What now?

It looks so real, that medieval village on stage, with the beautifully painted landscape in the background. It smells like fresh hay that has just been harvested. Music can be heard in the distance. At the front of the stage, a peddler is telling a story. He talks about hard-working parents who protect their children from wolves and other dangers, even at the cost of their own lives. A hard and rough existence, but full of dedication and love.

Until now. Because the parents have decided to leave. They no longer love their children. Just like that, suddenly. They tried for a while, but raising children without love is impossible.

So they pack their carts full of household goods, somewhat ashamed but determined. They leave. The children are asleep in the houses of the village. They don't know anything yet. The grown-ups are gone. The music stops. An empty stage, the peddler has also left. The play has come to a standstill. Is that allowed in a theater?

A child stands up. A child from the audience. It climbs onto the stage. It seems to know where it is going. Another child follows, perhaps the child that came with you. What now?
