This performance has already toured schools, being presented by Ousmane Bangura. Ousmane has previously performed with DIEHELEDING, acts, raps and is a former Limburg champion in storytelling. In half an hour, he takes the students on a dizzying language trip: with Brabant street language and absurdist anecdotes, Ousmane illustrates the versatility of words through a love story. Immediately after the performance, there will be a discussion of about 15 minutes with the class.

What worlds can language evoke? How do new stories originate? What is the relationship between language and identity? These and other exciting questions are addressed in the classroom performance Zo Dus, a monologue about the beauty (and possible ugliness) of language and how it can be used for everything you love. Good to know: this classroom performance is in Dutch.
Zo Dus is suitable for 5 havo and 4/5/6 vwo.
The performance and the resulting discussion together last 45 minutes and can be performed multiple times in a day. The performance can take place for a class in a regular classroom. Another good location is among the books in a media library, which can possibly accommodate (at most) two classes at the same time.
